CalciviD citrate formula contains calcium in an organic bond (citrate), the benefits of which are:

• absorption independent of pH,
• very favourable bioavailability,
• protection from calcium kidney stone formation,
• no gastrointestinal side effects.

Adequate calcium intake is essential for normal growth, i.e. the formation of maximum bone mass and maintenance of the balance of adult bone metabolism. The main role of D hormone converted from vitamin D3 in our organism is to stimulate calcium absorption in the gastrointestinal tract and to improve their incorporation into the bones.

In what cases is the preparation recommended?

• For the prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiency in elderly people.
• Calcium and vitamin D supply as a supplement for specific osteoporosis therapy in patients with a risk of vitamin D and calcium deficiency.

Pack size:
60 film-coated tablets

Dosing:

• 2 film-coated tablets once or twice per day.
• Take the film-coated tablet within 1-1.5 hour after a meal.
